![]() HOUSE SPARROW we have hundreds of these birds. They are also an imported pest, and very annoying. |
![]() MAGPIE We have many of these visit our yard. searching for food. We put out scraps, bread and seeds. They are native and their "warbling" is a delight to listen to. |
![]() NEW HOLLAND HONEY EATER We are fortunate to have a nest of these nectar eaters in our yard. These little birds are also native and eat insects and are attacted to the 'bottle-brush' type trees and bushes in our yeard. |
![]() RAVEN or CROW These large native birds also visit our yard on a regular basis looking for food and water. |

![]() Noisy Minor This bird visits our back yard from time to time looking for food. They can be very noisy and agressive towards other birds |
![]() Musk Lorikeet These litte birds visit our yard in the
hundreds to feed on the gum tree flowers and Bottle Brush
bracts. They are very noisy just after dawn and just before
dusk.

![]() Galah The Galah is another native parrot and
they visit our yard in summer for a drink or to feed on our pre-ripe
almonds. They come in karge numbers, and are very noisy.

![]() Spotted Turtledove (Imported Pest) As pretty as these birds appear they are a
pest. They can be tamed and they visit our yard to
feed. They have a nest in a nearby Gum Tree so the numbers
visiting vary from time to time.
